Blog 10: Class Highlights

To be honest, I'm not sure where to start for this blog because I found myself thinking so many times that I would call being a class highlight. If anything, what I think would be the first class highlight from this class is what I learned about Mass Media and how it's used. The second class highlight that I want to touch on was when the class was shown the comic of Allah and how most of the students felt that the comic was very disrespectful while there was one student who keep his ground that image was just act of freedom of speech, in my opinion I saw how how both sides had there point. Finally, what I found to be the biggest highlight of this class was hearing about things that I've heard from my friends that I wouldn't the most people know of, example would be like how propaganda techniques were used and how the news is not controlled by the government but by people who have a lot of power and money like the Rockefeller family. I probably could go on and on  about how many thing that I learned and got from this class. And I would definitely recommend this class to anyone. Thank you so much for this class, Prof. Cecilia Deck.
